Today, Tuesday, before 3 pm, the anti-discrimination student movement screened a documentary on various corruptions. Then slogans started rising from the stage. A minute's silence was observed around 4 pm and later Abul Hasan, father of martyr Shahriar Hasan Alvi, spoke. He said, “My son was martyred in Mirpur-10 during the movement. Our tears will never stop.”
The anti-discrimination student movement and the National Citizen Committee's "July Revolution Declaration" have been discussed in the political arena of the country for the past two days. The anti-discrimination student movement said in a press conference at Banglamotor on Monday night that a 'March for Unity' program has been organized at Shaheed Minar at 3 pm today.
Responding to this call, students from all over the country started gathering at the central Shaheed Minar from dawn.
