We will not go back because of Israeli aggression: Shahidul Alam
Prominent photographer and social activist Shahidul Alam has taken a firm stance against Israeli aggression and continued attacks. In a recent speech he emphasized, "We will not retreat in any way because of the Israeli attack. Rather, this attack has increased our fighting power."
According to Shahidul Alam, Israel's attack is not only on the Palestinian people, but a clear violation of human rights. He feels that this situation is a test for the whole world, where there is no other option but to stand up for justice and humanity.
Stand for humanity
Shahidul Alam has been working for social justice, human rights and freedom of expression for a long time. he said "The blockade that Palestine is going through today is not just a nation's crisis; it is a warning to all mankind. If we fail to raise our voice against injustice, the same fate will befall us tomorrow."
The power of resistance within the attack
He sees Israel's attack as an attempt to weaken the resistance of the Palestinian people. However, Shahidul Alam thinks that history is a witness that repression has never lasted long. He mentions, "Aggressors think that people can be silenced by intimidation. But the reality is that every attack awakens new strength and courage in people."
Responsibility of global society
Shahidul Alam urged the international community to play an effective role against Israel's aggression. Real action is needed, not just condemnation. Economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, and media exposure—these can be tools of deterrence.
