A warrant has been issued against actress Parimani, on charges of beating and threatening to kill filed by businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmud. The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court of Dhaka gave this order on Sunday. This information was given by Parimani's lawyer Nilanjana Rifat.

In the same case, a charge sheet has also been framed against Parimni's costume designer Junaid Bogdadi Jimi and an arrest warrant has been ordered against him.
Lawyer Nilanjana Rifat told Prothom Alo that time was sought for the hearing of the charge sheet in the case, but the court directly rejected it, framed the charge sheet and ordered the issuance of an arrest warrant in Parimani's absence.
On April 18 last year, the CJM court of Dhaka accepted the investigation report given by the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) in the case filed by Nasir Uddin Mahmud. Simultaneously, summons were ordered to be issued to Parimoni to appear in court.
On July 18, 2022, businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmud filed a complaint in a Dhaka court alleging assault and attempted murder. According to the complaint, on June 8, 2021, Parimony and his accomplices entered Savar's boat club, used the washroom and later sat inside the club and consumed alcohol. While leaving the club at around 1.15 am, Parimoni called Nasir and pressed him to give him a bottle of Blue Label alcohol free of cost. For not agreeing, Parimoni insulted him and at one point threw a glass in an attempt to kill Nasir, which hit Nasir on the head and chest.
Later, the PBI investigated and filed a report in the CJM court against Parimoni and his costume designer Junaid Bogdadi Jimmy in April. According to police and court-related sources, investigations found the allegations against Junaid to have beaten Nasir to be true, and that Nasir was hit by an alcohol glass thrown by Parimni.
Meanwhile, on June 8, 2021, Parimoni filed a case against Nasir and six others at the Savar Police Station on charges of rape and attempted murder at the Dhaka Boat Club in Savar's Birulia. On September 6, 2022, after investigating the case, the police submitted a charge sheet to the court against three people including Nasir. In the case, Dhaka Women and Child Torture Prevention Tribunal-9 framed charges against the three accused on May 18, 2022. Parimani's lawyer Nilanjana Rifat said that the case is now at the stage of taking evidence.
On the other hand, the trial against Parimoney and two others in the Narcotics Control Act case is going on in Dhaka's Special Judge Court-10, which is at the stage of taking evidence.
